What a partial clearance covers

A partial house clearance clears only the parts of a property you actually need emptied, rather than the whole home. That might be a single room, a couple of floors, a garage or loft, or a specific set of furniture and bulky items.

It is the practical middle ground when you do not need a full clearance but still want help shifting things you no longer want. You tell us which areas or items to clear, we agree a plan, and the rest of the property is left untouched.

As with any clearance, we look at what you are moving for resale value. Where there is genuine value, we may buy those items, which can offset the cost of the work.

When a partial clearance makes sense

  • Emptying one or two rooms while keeping the rest of the home as it is
  • Clearing a garage, loft or shed without touching the main house
  • Removing a specific suite of furniture, white goods or bulky items
  • Preparing a room for decorating, new furniture or a change of use
  • Helping a relative downsize by clearing selected rooms
  • End-of-tenancy clearances where only part of the property needs attention

Full or partial clearance: which is right for you

Not sure which you need? The difference is simply how much of the property is cleared. Here is how the two compare.

Why consider a partial clearance with us

A partial clearance is about doing just what is needed, no more and no less.

Clear only what you need to

A partial clearance empties the rooms or items you choose and leaves the rest of the property exactly as it is.

A smaller, more manageable job

When the whole property does not need clearing, a focused clearance keeps the job smaller and the cost in proportion to what is actually involved.

Contents looked at for resale value

We look at the items you are clearing. Where they hold resale value, we may buy them, which can reduce what you pay.

You stay in control throughout

You decide which rooms and items to clear. Nothing is moved until the details are agreed, so the parts of the home you want to keep stay put.

What a partial clearance can include

These are the kinds of partial clearance we can agree, depending on what you need.

  • Single-room clearance

Clear one room, such as a bedroom, kitchen or living room, while leaving the rest of the home alone.

  • Clearing selected items

Remove specific furniture, white goods or bulky items without clearing the whole room or property.

  • Garage, loft or outbuilding clearance

Empty one outbuilding on its own, such as a garage, loft or shed, without touching the main house.

  • Clearance with contents purchase

Where the items you are clearing hold resale value, we may buy them as part of the job, which can offset the cost.
